What is brain health?

Brain health is a hot topic, and rightly so.  The importance of early diagnosis and intervention really goes without saying.  The good news is, we have a great deal of control over our brain health: adopt lifestyle changes like regular exercise and stress management for improved brain health.  Are you pursuing wisdom in ALL things?  That’s body, soul, and MIND.

The Cost of Creativity: Bonhoeffer Set Aside Ethics For Art. Did He Choose Well?

Dietrich Bonhoeffer prioritized his creative pursuits over completing his theological magnum opus, “Ethics,” while in prison.  Interesting when you consider what the Apostle Paul chose to do while he was in prison (he wrote letters to churches).  Did he choose more wisely?  What would you do with your time if imprisoned?  How should context determine how we spend our time?  But to be fair to Bonhoffer, creative expression does benefit our spiritual well-being.  Wouldn’t this be the time to express it?

Being quiet is a valuable spiritual discipline that fosters inner peace and strengthens our relationship with God.  However, silence, is arguably hard to come by.  Here are some good suggestions of practical ways to incorporate quiet moments into your daily life.
