We’re headed into a season of major change.
Our youngest is leaving for college, so we’ll be ’empty nesters’. The lease on our rental is up, so we’ll have to move (it’ll be too big a place for our needs and too expensive anyway). But not just move: I was laid off, but found a new job that will require us to move out of state.
All this will happen in the next 8 weeks.
God was so kind to allow me to transition from one job to the next without missing a beat. We have so much to be grateful for.
I’m not sure if so much change all at once is better than incremental change over time, but you know what, it doesn’t matter. God is over all of it. Bring on the change, however it needs to change, no matter how long it takes, right?!
We all know how this story goes. One chapter ends, and another chapter begins…
