I never did the spring-break-on-a-beach trip while I was in college. After all, I went to school in North Dakota – we didn’t need no stinkin’ beaches. But, I guess a whole summer in Ocean City, NJ, after I graduated, does kind of make up for it.
For spring break, our boys are not doing the beach thing either. Instead, they are road-trippin’ Hwy 1 up the west coast into Oregon.
Talk about using your week off wisely.
While I am a little envious (though North Dakota is beautiful too… in certain parts, on certain days… when you squint just right), it is a good reminder that we should use our time wisely to: Truly experience, truly beautiful things, truly together.
